A client has carcinoid syndrome. She is due for heart valve replacement and now has leakage from the pulmonary artery. She also has the tumours on the liver. This syndrome is basically due to the overproduction of serotonin... So how can we stop the production of serotonin?? We know the biochemical pathways.... Is there anything we can do to suppress it.
