So they did a renal u.s. and a vcug...the vcug came back that there was reflux into her kidney and they decided to put her on bactrim every night and to redo the vcug in a year to see if she outgrows it...We did the vcug again Feb 2 and it showed that there was still reflux into the kidney...She has been complaining of hurting down there also...The doctor wants to keep her on antiboitics again for another year and redo the test next year to see if she outgrows it...Is this the best action or should i take her to a urologist?
