The pain felt as though I had cold in my eye.......maybe even pink eye. There was also quite a bit of redness. On 3 occassions in the past 2 days, the pain got very sharp for about 5 seconds almost as if a needle had been stuck in my eye. I decided to go to the optometrist. After looking and touching around my eye, the optometrist diagnosed me with 'UV-ITIST'. He says that this disease could come from having another disease such as diabetes. He rattled off others and suggested that I have blood work done in order to be sure. I will be making a doctor's appt on Tuesday.
