Also prescribed Xanax, usually take .50 mg when feeling shaky, trembling and knots in my stomach. Also prescribed Zopliclone 2.5mg (usually take 5.0mg) when go to bed. Does the sleeping pills aggravate my anxious condition, I always wake up early with tremors and my stomach is in knots. I am just starting on Effexor but I have been taking the Xanax & Zopiclone since Feb 05 but it's the last 2 weeks I've been really depressed and down and I've lost a lot of weight, have very little energy and haven't left the house in these last 2 weeks. I would rate it very high on the scale. The only thing that makes it better is taking the Xanax but to be really effective I've started taking .75mg. I want to try and go off the Xanax and Zopiclone.
