Your Question

I gave birth via cesarean 12 weeks ago. I have the normal expected vaginal bleeding for about 3 weeks and then it was done. Apx. 3 weeks later I was hit pretty hard in the area of my scar and just 20 minutes later I began bleeding very heavy. The bleeding lasted for 16 days before I went to the ER. They did an ultrasound and blood work and a vaginal exam and found nothing wrong. The doctor said it could have been a symptom of the depo birth control shot but she couldn\'t understand why the bleeding lasted so long. My OB put me on a birth control pill (3 a day for 2 days, 2 a day for 2 days, and 1 a day until the pack is finished) the bleeding stopped for 3 days and I was hit again in the area of my scar and the bleeding started again. Nothing makes it worse or better. And I have no other symptoms. Could something be wrong that the doctors haven\'t picked up on? What should I do next?
