Your Question
My 4 y/o son has reoccuring rashing every spring ever since he was an infant, I was told it was rosacea by one doctor, then I was told it was a sun allergy by a dermatoligist. He has been anemic, only realized because of other testing. When he was an infant he always had bright red(&hot) cheeks and since birth he has always had a higher than normal temp. In the winter his face had cleared up this year. When he touches snow, almost instantly he will scream and complain about his hands are so cold that they hurt. I would have to hold them and warm them up with my hands before he would stop crying.
So about a month ago Jamen had a regular checkup and his doctor said that he had ringworm on his neck. The spots look inflammed and red which only got worse in the sun yesterday(worse inflamation). We have been treating him with anti-fungal cream and it hasn\'t done anything so far. There is a spotty \"butterfly rash\" currently on his face. There are 5 people in the home, none of which are displaing signs of ringworm. (myself, dad, sister(6), & brother(2). Is it ringworm or something else?
