3 days ago I was experiencing symptoms that included a head that felt swelled and an inability to take a full breath without coughing but the mucus in my chest felt hardened (or scratchy) and was difficult to expel. This seemed like a sinus infection only my nasal passages were clear. I took generic brand Mucinex and ibuprofen to combat this but now am experiencing intermittent stomach pains directly below my sternum. This is the only remaining symptom so far as I can tell.

I\'d like your thoughts on what this is and what I can take to alleviate this issue. It\'s not extreme pain, but definite discomfort that seems to neither increase nor decrease depending on when or what I eat. It\'s completely sporadic.
