Her symptoms @ 15 months to 21 months was high wbc high platelets no weight gain and periodic high fevers. She was tested for everything from HIV to cystic fibrosis. After not being able to find any cause and her wbc went down they decided to stop test and just watch her. SHe has been doing well I thought, but 2 days ago she woke up with a pain in her neck and would not move her head or walk. So we took her to the ER and they did several xrays and then blood work and admitted her to the hospital for observation. They did a cdc on her and a chemistry test and checked her urine. She has BIli in her urine and on her chemistry test it showed a high alk phos, high GFR (which I can find no info on a high GFR) her mcv and mch are also low. Also her platelets are high at 542. I am just worried because the answer I get from the doctor about the tests is everything is fine and then a nurse gives me the copy of the test results and everyting is not fine on her tests.
