I was intimate with my wife last night and after an extended session I noticed that at the base of my penis, on the top side, it looks as though I have ruptured a blood vessel. The size of the purple bruise is about a quarter. The area is raised and minorly uncomfortable. Is this common, as I have never heard of it. What should be done, if anything?
